Vacancies at Helios Homoeopathy Ltd

We occasionally have job opportunities at Helios for qualified homeopaths or final year students who live within working distance of our head office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent:

The hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm and we prefer a commitment to 3 days a week. Applicants would also be expected to take part in our Saturday rota (9am - 2pm) usually for one Saturday every four to six weeks.

The duties consist of three main areas;

Pharmacy
Preparing and dispensing homoeopathic remedies for which in house training will be given.  Requires an attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and some maths.

Shop counter
Serving customers in the shop area - giving advice on acute conditions, and directing customers to the Helios clinic for consultations where appropriate. Requires a knowledge of acute remedies.
A knowledge of vitamins and supplements would also be useful.

Office
The applicant will also be expected to work on a daily rota basis as part of our office team.  This requires a degree of computer literacy (preferably on Apple Macs but training will be given).  Duties in the office will involve input of orders received via telephone, fax, answer phone and email.  Staff should  have a confident telephone manner and be able to give brief homoeopathic advice for acute prescribing to both patients and practitioners.
