This is a thorough and erudite book on Hahnemann's three chronic miasms - Psora, Sycosis and Syphilis, with additional information on the 'pseudo-psoric' (Tubercular) miasm. It is clear and purposeful in its style and well-referenced, and as such brings a sense of scholarly rigour to the whole question of the miasms in homeopathy. There are useful case studies and a constant calibration between the fundamental principles and their practical application, which is very helpful. The book is divided into three parts: Theory, Practice - Symptomatology and Remedies, and Practice - Clinical Cases, with an initial very useful reminder as to the different scenarios in which the prescription of a miasmatic remedy might be needed.
